A creative use for your circle punches!

This great little idea comes from my friend, Michelle Sturgeon who is a VERY creative Stampin Up Consultant.

You take these punches:

and turn them into this cute little owl!

Want to know how?  Follow these simple directions:

With your 1 3/8” circle punch, punch out a circle. This will be the body of your owl.

Using the scalloped circle punch, punch out another circle. This will be your wings. You will need to cut this in half and round out the wings. Ink the edges if you desire.

The head is punched with a tab punch.

Using ¾”, ½” and ¼” punches, punch out eyes.

A small corner of orange paper will make a beak and the toes.

Glue it all down and you’re done!

You now have a cute little owl to use as a treat bag topper (WHOOOOOOO’s scared?) or on a card!

Isn't that cute?

Stay tuned! Later today I'll be uploading my Design Team Reveal for November for Scrap Shotz!

A couple from the weekend!

We had a great day (and a great group) cropping at our regular Saturday crop.  I managed to get a bunch of things done (some I can show you today and some will have to wait).

October Kit from Scrap Shotz

Doesn't that look yummy?

Reveal Day and DT Challenge Day

I am so glad to see Scrap Shotz back to monthly kits!  This month we had the new CHA release from Fancy Pants, Happy Together.  It's lovely!  We also had thickers, journalling tags, corrugated flowers, a sheet of chipboard stickers and cardstock, and a new Tattered Angels product called Glimmer Glaze.
